| Had a few more things to powdercoat so I got those out of the way. I'm addicted to this chrome pc. I just keep finding parts to use it on. I'm supposed to be getting Mike Smiths new intake pipes. But I don't know when those will actually happen so I went ahead and pc'd my stock pipes for the time being. Also redid my lower radiator hardpipe that I got from Scott a few yrs ago. Mine had a few bad scratches on it from rubbing. Also did a few other parts: AC pulley, tb linkage parts, etc. 
Had a local shop weld up some bungs on my turbo outlet pipes for my boost controller lines to keep things simpler. I wanted them to just put on some barbs to keep it cleaner, but they ended up welding on the bung. It's a larger set up than I wanted but it will work fine. I went ahead and removed the wiring harness clips I won't be using as well to clean up the pipes more.
 Been trying to get my tb covers painted as well. Been having problems getting the paint to match my powdercoat. Getting closer with the color. Hard to tell the diff in pictures though. 
Went ahead and picked up a set of J-30 tb covers to use instead. They don't have the ptu moutning points. They are also pretty solid. Thicker than the Z covers. I had to shave the passenger side fins still. Pretty easy though. 
Bad news though as I don't think I'll be making it to zcon this yr. My Mike Smith manifolds are still at Swain (were supposed to be done last week). And the post office lost one of my custom fuel rails a few weeks ago. The shop here in town that is supposed to be making the replacement has been giving me the run around and they still haven't started on it yet. So having time to put it all back together and get the engine broke in in time for the drive to Dallas is rapidly running out. I really don't see it happening.
